提要
耶穌在世最後兩天中所發生的事件都帶著十字架的陰影，祂的一言一行都是恥辱、犧牲和拯救的象徵，如：在伯大尼被膏、慶祝逾越節、享用主餐以及在客西馬尼園的禱告等等。耶穌被捕、受審，審祂的先是猶太人，然後是羅馬人；隨後被定罪、執刑、葬在墳墓裡，即使這樣，故事到此還沒有結束！耶穌在榮耀光輝的勝利中，帶著復活的大能從墳墓中出來。的確，這位猶太人的君王復活了！於是祂的跟隨者銜命四處分享這大好的信息。 |

耶穌基督的十字架被稱為「宇宙歷史的焦點」，每一個人永恒命運的關鍵取決於這個人和耶穌，並耶穌在十字架上的代死有什麼關連。
研讀今日經文的時候，請深思耶穌在十字架上的釘死及其意義，然後你能否和保羅一樣說：「但我斷不以別的誇口，只誇我們主耶穌基督的十字架，因這十字架就我而論，世界已經釘在十字架上，就世界而論，我已經釘在十字架上」 (加6：14)呢？
然後想想十字架對你的鄰居、朋友、親人和同事的意義。你是否確定他們已然憑著信心來到十字架前，接受惟有耶穌才能賜予的救恩呢？如果不是，今天你要怎樣才能成為一個器皿，把人領到主耶穌面前？
也許是打個電話、寫封信、一頓午餐的邀約或是一個晚上的相聚，求上帝預備一顆渴慕的心、一次拜訪的機會，和分享福音使你生命改變的勇氣！是的，這是你的特權！

默想
感恩的馨香
根據聖經的記載，以油膏抹和潤滑皮膚在社會各階層中都很普遍，只不過富有的人用昂貴的香料和膏油，而窮人則否。馬太福音廿六章七節中那個膏耶穌的女子，所用的香膏極其貴重，幾乎等於一年的薪資──對任何一個人來說，這樣的舉動表達出一種慷慨無私的愛。

Overview
The events during the final two days of Jesus' earthly life carry the shadow of the cross. Everything He says and does foreshadows that symbol of shame, sacrifice, and salvation: the anointing in Bethany, the Passover observance and Lord's Supper, ihe prayer in Gethsemane. Jesus is arrested and tried, first by the Jews, then by the Romans; He is condemned, executed, and placed in a tomb. But the story does not end there. In glorious triumph, Jesus comes forth from the grave in resurrection power. Indeed, the King of the Jews lives again, a message of Good News which His followers are eommissioned to share. |

The cross of Jesus Christ has been called "the fulcrum of cosmic history." The eternal destiny of every human being hinges on a person's relationship to Jesus and His work on the cross.
As you read today's section, think deeply about the crucifixion of Jesus and its significance. Can you say with Paul, "God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me. and I unto the world" (Galatians 6:14)?
Then think of what the cross means to your neighbors ,.. friends ... family members ... fellow employees. Are you sure each of them has come to the foot of the cross in faith and received the salvation which only Jesus can provide? If not, how can you be instrumental in leading one person to Calvary today?
It may involve a phone call, a letter, y luncheon invitation, an evening get-together. Ask God for a prepared heart ... a door to opportunity ,.. and a boldness as you share the lifechanging message of the Gospel. That's your privilege!

The Fragrance of Gratitude —
Throughout Bible lands, oi! to anoint and soothe the skin was common for all levels of society. However, wealthy people had expensive perfumes and ointments. The woman of Matthew 26:7 anointed Jesus with a precious perfumed oil that was worth almost a year's wages—a lavish gesture of love by anyone's standard.
