詩篇第二卷以這六首宣告上帝配得讚美與信靠的詩作為結束。我們可以看到萬國都接受上帝公義的統治（詩67），繼而看到上帝的眷顧，使孤兒和無家可歸的人歡呼喜悅（詩68），當然祂也聽到困苦人的呼求（詩69），於是立刻去解救那些受逼迫的人（詩70），使軟弱的人有力量（詩71），並操練國王和其統管的國（詩72），誠如詩中所說的：「諸王都要叩拜祂，萬國都要事奉祂」（詩72：11）。

        有句話說得好：「我們的日子就像規格相同的箱子，只是有的人裝得比較多而已！」
        在你忙碌的生活中，別忘了上帝也很忙──祂忙，是為了你！今天讀完了詩篇六十八篇之後，看看你能否發現至少五件事，是上帝答應今天/在每一天/都要為你做的，現在就記下來吧！
        在這個電腦化的世界裡，人們常會減少一些無用的數字，在此提醒你；這裡有一位朋友，對祂來說你永遠都不會只是個數字，祂是「天天背負我們重擔的主」（詩68：19）；祂進入你的喜樂與憂愁，使你的重擔輕省（太11：28-30）。
        詩篇六十八篇裡一共五次提到力量──上帝渴慕為祂子民所展現的力量，你今天是否已經祈求得著這份力量，使你能靠著上帝完成那些靠自己無法完成的事？畢竟「以色列的上帝，是將力量權能賜給百姓的」（詩68：35）。

        四百年旅程的最後一年
        大衛寫詩篇六十八篇的正確時間並不可考，但很可能是約櫃運進耶路撒冷的那段時間（撒下6：12）。幾世紀以前在西乃山上約櫃就開始它的長途旅行，進耶路撒冷這件令人奔走相告的好消息是整個旅程的高潮。當年在西乃山約櫃被造完工，從西乃山出發，它先以色列人進入應許之地，現在約櫃安憩在錫安山頂上，仍然是上帝永遠同在的象徵。

除非我們清楚明白自己一無所有，否則無法從上帝那裡得到任何能力。

        Book 2 of the Psalms concludes with six proclamations showing that God is worthy of praise and trust. The nations acknowledge God's righteous rule (67), exulting in His care of the fatherless and homeless (68). He hears the cry of the distressed (69), speedily delivers the oppressed (70), strengthens the feeble-hearted (71), and exercises dominion over kings and kingdoms (72). Truly "All kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him" (72:11).

        It has been well said, "Our days are identical suitcases—all the same size—but some people can pack more into them than others." In the midst of your busy schedule, never lose sight of the fact that God is busy too—on your behalf! As you read Psalm 68, jot down at least five things God has promised to do for you today—and every day.
        In our computerized world where people are often reduced to faceless figures, it's encouraging to know there's Someone to whom you'll never be just a number. Someone who "daily loadeth us with benefits" (68:19). Someone who enters into your joys and sorrows, exchanging your heavy burdens for His light ones (Matthew 11:28-30).
        Five times in Psalm 68, strength is mentioned—strength God longs to demonstrate on behalf of His people. Have you drawn up¬on that strength today, enabling you to do in His strength what you would be powerless to do in your own strength? After all, 'The God of Israel is he that giveth strength ... unto his people" (68:35).

        The Final Stop on a 400-Year Journey
        The exact occasion for which David composed Psalm'68 is not known, but quite possibly it marked the bringing of the ark of the covenant into Jerusalem (2 Samuel 6:12). This joyous event climaxes a journey begun centuries before at Mount Sinai. There the ark had been fashioned; from there it went before Israel into the Promised Land. Now the ark reaches the summit of Mount Zion, where it will reside as the symbol of God's abiding presence.

We have no power from God unless we live in the persuasion that we have none of our own.
